QUALITY POLICY

STEP ENGINEERING aims to achieve process improvement and enhanced management of its organizational structure by adopting a Quality Management System (QMS) compliant with the ISO 9001:2015 standard, and by obtaining the relevant certification from an accredited body. Quality, in this context, is defined as the totality of the service performance characteristics provided, aimed at meeting Client expectations and achieving their full satisfaction with the output. The Company operates primarily in the public healthcare sector, providing engineering services for major hospitals within the Region and beyond. Notable projects include the Bellaria Hospital, Maggiore Hospital, and S. Orsola Hospital in Bologna, the S. Anna Hospital in Ferrara, the Policlinico in Modena, and numerous other smaller hospitals. The continuous regulatory evolution of the sector, coupled with the need to produce technical services that meet all standards of reliability, safety, maintainability, and compliance with the accreditation requirements of the facilities we serve, necessitates organizing the Company's operational structure in a codified manner. This structure must conform to Client acceptability criteria, ensuring the delivery of services with the highest technical and functional quality. The entire organization must, therefore, commit to achieving the following priority objectives:
-
Orienting STEP ENGINEERING’s strategy towards Quality System management, aiming for continuous improvement.
-
Being recognized in the market as a design company committed to the constant and continuous enhancement of its quality level.
-
Fostering the highest expression of the professionalism of our collaborators.
-
Conducting continuous internal training activities aimed at improving the professional culture of our staff.
-
Performing continuous review of the management system for process improvement.
-
Enhancing client satisfaction through full compliance with requested specifications and requirements.
-
Ensuring Clients that the service provided conforms to current legislation and regulations, based on established and agreed-upon quality specifications.
-
Preventing and eliminating non-conformities through Risk Management and Corrective Actions.
-
Managing the Quality of our suppliers/collaborators by requiring them to comply with the principles of our Quality System.
Analyzing and improving the achieved results must constitute the primary objective for the progressive development of the Company in its target market. The commitment of the entire operational structure and mutual cooperation will be fundamental for achieving these goals; quality must be felt and evident in every activity performed.
